About Spring Hill

Get directions

Spring Hill is 2km from Brisbane CBD. Spring Hill was named in the 19th century because the hill on which the suburb was built was the source of the creek that was Brisbane’s first fresh water supply. The Old Windmill is a heritage-listed tower located in Wickham Park on Wickham Terrace. According to its heritage notice, it is the oldest surviving building in Queensland.
