1. The Scratch- Milton
A small craft beer bar that supports local and independent brewers. You can tour what’s on tap with free tasters and they also allow a BYO food policy.
2. Tippler’s Tap- Newstead
This cosy cabbin style bar has 11 taps on constant rotation, and their list of bottled beer is constantly changing also, as they like to keep their range evolving. You can also get some delicious wings, sliders or chilli while you’re there.
3. Yard Bird- Fortitude Valley
This craft beer bar offers fine beer and spirits, and great food. Yard Bird Ale House features an all American menu, with authentic chicken wing recipes, including the ‘death sentence wings’. If you can handle the chilli you can try to beat the current record and make it to the chalkboard of fame
4. Archive- West End
The Archive beer boutique has 18 constantly rotating draught beers on tap and over 400+ varieties of bottled beers and ciders that are domestic and imported. Come In any night of the week and they will have some sort of event on, be it trivia, beer and board games or live performances.
5. Bitter Suite- New Farm
With 7 taps and the occasional eight when the handpump is on, Bitter Suite stocks Australian and local beers as well as some overseas brews. They have over 60 bottled craft beers and change their tap list almost weekly.They also stock boutique wine and spirits and serve both house and classic cocktails.
6. The Burrow- West End
The Burrow in West End is open during the day for breakfast and coffee and by night it becomes a licensed pizza restaurant serving craft beer and cider.
