Due to a rise in land and development costs in Brisbane CBD, developers have set their sights on suburbs further out of the city, with Pacific Enterprises Group leading the way.
Pacific Enterprises Group has developed a number of medium density projects on the city’s Southside, and now they’ve just bought another block of land in Mitchelton.
Opposite the Brookside Shopping Centre, the 4250 square metre block of land is set to be transformed into Signature on Mitchelton, two four-storey apartment dwellings.
The apartment dwellings are expected to be completed by late 2016, offering residents luxury boutique apartment living just 7 kilometres from the city.
Director of Pacific Enterprises Group, Idris Jangda says Signature on Mitchelton will offer residents a lifestyle choice.
“Signature on Mitchelton is an architecturally designed luxury residence,” he says.
“It offers urban convenience with Brookside shopping centre across the street and public transport a heartbeat away.”
From top to bottom, wall to wall, the apartments are designed for liveability, with spacious kitchens, high ceilings, and a private balcony.
They’ll also feature “stone bench tops, porcelain tiles, invisi-gard stainless-steel screens to all windows and sliding areas, instantaneous hot water, fully air conditioned and blinds,” says Mr Jangda, as well as BBQ areas and a pool.
The apartments are only minutes away from quality day-care, primary and secondary schools, sporting facilities, parklands and of course the Brookside shopping centre with over 120 retailers. They are only two blocks away from the very trendy Blackwood Street café precinct.
Mr Jangda says Mitchelton is a community with a charm that is hard to find.
“It has the natural vistas of a true rural idyll, with playgrounds and manicured parks around the corner and a short drive to the lush green depths of D’Aguilar National Park,” he says.
“This is the soul of the suburb and a place where young and old would like to put their roots down and spend time with their families.”
In the past five years, the median house price in Mitchelton has increased by some 19.4 per cent and rents are now significantly above the state median. Mitchelton might be a hidden gem now, but it’s not going to stay secret for much longer.
Signature on Mitchelton is a Matusik pick, receiving top honours in Project, Location, Value, Demand and Design. Their site office is located on the corner of Osborne and Sussex Road at Mitchelton.
“Come and have a virtual tour of your new residence and see the model in our site office,” Mr Jangda says.
