Hundreds of guests lined up to preview DevCorp’s $100 million Kangaroo Point development this month, as they unveiled their luxury display suite.
Located on Shafston Avenue, Lume is a 13-level luxury apartment tower with sweeping vistas of the Brisbane skyline, Botanic gardens, Brisbane River and South Bank.
During the unveiling, investors, local business owners and Kangaroo Point residents were shown the floor plans and apartment positioning on an interactive touch screen display, while Lume’s architectural elements were visible from a 3D model.
The display suite launch follows a successful pre-registration campaign which attracted interest from interstate and local buyers.
One the day, DevCorp also presented a cheque for $1500 to a representative of Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland to thank the community.
DevCorp Managing Director, Murray Thornton says it is important for the company to express their appreciation and give back to the community.
“Lume apartments showcase interiors that exude a distinctly home ambience and we, at DevCorp, want to help Ronald McDonald House create that ‘home away from home’ feeling for seriously ill children and their families needing accommodation,” he says.
“The first Ronald McDonald House, and the hundreds that have followed, were built on love. Lume translates to more than love in urban vernacular, and we felt our relationship was the perfect match.”
