The internet was abuzz over the weekend with the news that Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose is set to front AC/DC for the rest of their Rock or Bust tour. Well, we just got a sneak peek at what that might look like.
The recently reunited Guns N’ Roses headlined the Coachella festival on the weekend, and not only did they perform their own greatest hits, but Rose got a chance to practice a few AC/DC bangers, too.
The group were joined by AC/DC guitarist Angus Young to play Whole Lotta Rosie and Riff Raff, and you can watch the results in the videos above and below.
The Gunners’ 25-song set also included Wings, Bob Dylan, Misfits and The Who covers, before concluding with a triumphant performance of their own mega-hit, Paradise City.
What do you think of Axl Rose fronting AC/DC? Is it a great mash-up, or bloody un-Australian? Have your say in the comments below!
