A woman in her 20s has died after her car crashed into a cow, while three other people sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A woman has died in a crash in northern Queensland after the car in which she was travelling hit a cow and rolled.
Police say the woman in her 20s died in the crash on the Barkly Highway, Mount Isa at about 7:30pm. Three other people in the car sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Officers closed the highway in both directions.
Police are also investigating a serious crash in central Queensland that left a 63-year-old Gracemere man with serious life-threatening injuries.
They say that at about 6:15pm a ute crossed onto the wrong side of Razor Back Road near Mount Morgan and struck the man in his on-coming car.
The man was taken to the Rockhampton Base hospital along with two men in the ute, who are aged 47 and 48 and sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
