A Queensland woman was visiting a unit block when she was allegedly mugged by three men with a taser, police say.
Three men have been charged with torturing a woman with a taser before mugging her on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Police say the woman, 21, was visiting a unit block in Caloundra last week when she was attacked.
She had walked into a unit when three men allegedly assaulted her and demanded money.
Officers say the men then used what’s understood to a taser on the woman and threatened her family.
She eventually escaped and was rushed to Caloundra Hospital with facial injuries.
Two men, aged 31 and 18, have been charged with multiple offences, including assault occasioning bodily harm, deprivation of liberty and torture.
Both men are due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday.
A 32-year-old man also has been charged with similar offences and is due to appear in the same court on August 25.
