The Canberra Raiders have announced Newcastle under 20s coach Mick Crawley as their assistant coach for the 2015 season.

Canberra have signed Newcastle under-20s coach Mick Crawley as their assistant coach for the next NRL season.

Crawley previously worked at the Raiders from 2007-08 under then coach Neil Henry.

He followed Henry to North Queensland for the following two seasons before working under Newcastle coach Wayne Bennett for the last three years.

“Mick has worked in the NRL environment alongside some great coaches including Wayne Bennett and Neil Henry in the past and we look forward to his arrival for the start of the pre-season,” Raiders CEO Don Furner said.
