You only have a short window of time to declare your feelings and you have to do it in front of all your family and friends.

Tip#1 – You both have to want this

If you want to write your own vows make sure both you and your partner really want to.  If one of you has chronic stage fright it might just be better to go with something a little more traditional.

Have a hunt around and look for inspiration, famous quotes, poems and movie lines are a great place to start.

Remember you are writing these vows to express you and your partners beliefs, love and hopes for the future so don’t let high expectations or pressure make you over think or stress out. Look at this as an opportunity to write down your feelings and let your partner know how you feel.
