Due to the popularity of the Dancing CEOs fundraiser event, organisers have decided to release 180 extra balcony tickets.
Held on Friday 15 April, Dancing CEOs will see Brisbane’s leading CEOs swap the boardroom for the City Hall dance floor to raise funds for Women’s Legal Service’s new Helpline.
The Women’s Legal Service just recently launched the Helpline with the assistance of government and corporate supporters, to help women and children suffering from domestic violence.
The service allows for eight times more calls from Queensland women to be answered, with more call staff working round the clock. But, its ongoing running costs exceed $200,000 every year and at present the service only has funding until the end of June. So, all funds raised by Dancing CEOs will be directed toward continuing this vital Helpline.
This year’s superstar dancing CEOs include, Janet Benson from Bluemint Group, Sue-Ellen Watts from wattsnext, Maria Becis from Becis Chartered Accountants, Warren Swanston from Visie Properties and Elena Gosse from Australian Innovative Systems.
Dance-wise, audiences can expect samba, tap, hip hop and everything in between. There will also be drinks and some incredible prizes up for grabs, including a new Hyundai and other major prizes.
Dancing CEOs will be held on Friday 15 April from 6:30pm at Brisbane City Hall. To book or to sponsor your favourite CEO visit www.dancingceos.com.au/2016-ceos
