The Baden-Clay jury have announced their verdict.
The trial of former Brookfield real estate agent Gerard Baden-Clay, 43, who stood accused of murdering his wife Allison Baden-Clay, 43, on April 19, 2012, has come to an end.
Just moments ago the jury reached a verdict: Baden-Clay has been found guilty of the murder of wife Allison. The jury deliberated for 22 hours before announcing their decision.
Baden-Clay pleaded not guilty in the Supreme Court at Brisbane at the opening of his trial more than six weeks ago. A jury of seven men and five women delivered its verdict shortly after 11.50am.
UPDATED: Following victim impact statements provided by the family of Allison Baden-Clay, Gerard Baden-Clay has been sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice John Byrne.
