Everybody’s favourite physicist, Professor Brian Cox, will bring his all-new live stage show to Australia and New Zealand in November.
A Professor of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester, Cox is best known as the presenter of shows like Wonders of the Solar System, Wonders of the Universe, Wonders of Life and The Science of Doctor Who.
One of the world’s most popular communicators of all things scientific, Cox is beloved for his innate ability to make highly complex matters seem entertaining and easy to contemplate.
His television shows have broken new ground with their sizable audience reach and accessibility, and he’s been hailed as the natural successor to lead BBC’s scientific programming by no less an authority than Sir David Attenborough himself.
He even attempted to talk sense into One Nation senator and serial climate change denier Malcolm Roberts, for all the good it did him.
Oh, and we should never forget he played keyboard for D:Ream and Dare before making it big as a science boffin.
Presented by Lateral Events, Cox will be joined on stage by British comedian, actor and writer Robin Ince, Brian’s co-host on BBC Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage.
Professor Brian Cox will appear at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 4 November. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday 7 August at lateralevents.com.
