Wubba lubba dub dub! Brisbane will host an art exhibition devoted to everybody’s favourite Adult Swim show, Rick and Morty.

Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Rick and Morty tells the story of thinly veiled Back to the Future analogues mad scientist Rick and his loyal grandson Morty as they embark on surreal adventures throughout the multiverse.

Over the course of two seasons, the show has developed a huge cult following, with a third season supposedly on the way at some point this year (an air date has yet to be announced).

Unfortunately, we don’t have any new info about the third season — but we can tell you that an art show devoted to Rick, Morty, Beth, Jerry, Summer and the rest of the gang is coming to Brisbane this week, because sometimes, science is more art than science.

Milton craft beer bar The Scratch (8/1 Park Road, Milton) will host the Rick and Morty Appreciation Art Show this Wednesday 22 March from 6pm to 11pm. Entry is free.

Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. We’re all going to die. Come check out some art?
