Tattersall’s Racing Club concludes its 150 years of racing celebrations with an incredible Celebration Season Race Day filled with fashion on Saturday 21 November at Doomben Racecourse.
For this event the popular Tattersall’s Club Singapore Airlines Fashions on the Field competition will return, featuring long standing emcee Lise Carlaw and Jay Pask, Fashion Police in the Gold Coast Bulletin, Singapore Airlines representative Jacki D’Antonio, Laura Moss from Racing Style Nation and Christie Murray from Christine Millinery and Georgia Barlow from Tony Barlow Menswear on the judging panel.
Enjoy watching the fashion show as participants in the competition show off their gorgeous frocks and dapper suits or if you consider yourself a bit of a fashionista you might like to enter the competition yourself, with incredible prizes to be won and the chance to secure a spot in the finals.
The winner of the comp (male or female) will receive return flights to their choice of Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai. The female runner up will also receive a $1,000 Veronika Maine voucher and the male runner up a $1,000 Tony Barlow Menswear voucher. Nice!
But the fashion fun doesn’t stop there, in a Tattersall’s Club first the Club will host the 2015 Tattersall’s Club Singapore Airlines Fashions on the Field Finals, where all of the finalists from each of the four race days throughout the year, including the Saturday 21 November competition will come together to compete for the top prize.
Held in the popular Grove Marquee, right on the track, the finals will commence straight after the regular Fashions on the Field Competition.
Both one male and one female will be announced as the overall winners of 2015 and walk away with two return Business Class flights to Singapore. If that doesn’t give you a good excuse to get dressed up, we don’t know what will!
Don’t miss this fashion extravaganza!
Tattersall’s Celebration Season Race Day will be held on Saturday 21 November at Doomben Racecourse. Gates open at 10:30am and tickets can be bought for $15 on the day.

Just reading the Latest on Doomben Racecourse. We have fully renovated a a lovely Queenslander in Hopetoun Street and put in all the mod cons to enjoy, It is so nice living near the Racecourse we can see at close hand what is going on. Our Little Girl is being taken to the laster show at QPAC and of course we will all have a good laugh. When she is old enough we will take her to the races which are always fun. Just in keeping when I graduated from FIlm and Television School I was given my FIST JOB at the DOOMEN RACECOURSE manning the BOLEX SWISS CAMERA to send 16mm film down to the runners to spot scratching or any misconduct on the racecourse. I was with a Greek at the time and it was awesome being up in the TOWER with all the COMMOTION GOING ON AROUND ME Cheers KIM GOETZ and little Anna–Marie ELIZABETH VON
