Following a last minute cancellation to his tour due to illness earlier this year, the English four-time Grammy winner is set to touch down on Australian shores later this year.

Frontier Touring will present The Lonely Hour tour, set to be Sam Smith’s biggest tour yet, performing in arenas across the country.

“Australia, I am so so happy to finally have some good news for you,” Smith said. “I can now announce that my cancelled In The Lonely Hour tour dates have been rescheduled!!

“I’m unbelievably excited to get back onstage and perform for you all again, and I promise it will be so much better than it would have been before when my voice was damaged. The past few months have been incredibly difficult, but the support, love and patience my fans have shown me is absolutely unreal. I am so grateful to every one of you. I can’t wait to see you all.”

The summer tour will kick off at Perth Arena on Saturday 28 November before following on to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and finally Brisbane on Saturday December 12 at the Entertainment Centre.

The 23-year old British superstar has recently celebrated the one year anniversary of his In The Lonely Hour album, which has sold more than eight million copies worldwide, propelling him from London bartender to one of the biggest-selling artists in the world.

Tickets to the tour will go on sale from 10am local time on Wednesday 17 June. For more information, visit our Event Guide.
