A collection of vintage advertising from a bygone era is coming to the Woolloongabba Antique Centre.
Renowned collector Roy Sims is coming to Brisbane and he is brining with him his collection of advertising prints, movie day-bills, trade and brand advertising.
Sims has been collecting pieces for decades across a variety of brands. The vast collection includes luxury brands such as Channel, Vuitton and Bally, WW2 propaganda, classic Coke a Cola, alcohol and tobacco brands.
The assortment of pieces is an entertaining look at how post-war culture was boxed and sold. For the history buffs, this is a must-see.
The great news is, the items included in the collection are all for sale.
You can see the exhibition at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre between 22 May and 1 June.
