This year’s Russian Resurrection Film Festival aims to showcase a variety of films from contemporary comedies and psychological thrillers to love stories set in the picturesque mountains of Armenia and against the backdrop of the Tsar’s last days.

The Russian Resurrection Film Festival will take audiences on a thrilling journey through one of the world’s most diverse and exhilarating film cultures.

The program includes Moscow Never Sleeps, a contemporary multi-narrative that dives into the volatile intersections of Russia’s capital and the intimate lives of five people, The Student a film about a teenager in the midst of a mystical crisis who turns an entire high school upside down by his own interpretation of the Bible and 14+ a turbulent, moving tale of first love set in a vast suburban conglomeration of tower blocks. The story might recall Romeo and Juliet but, rather than being united in death, the lovers here are united in life.
