The Bach Society Choir is pleased to present a concert of works by the great Austrian composer, Joseph Haydn (1732-1809), composed for the court of the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria.

The concert will feature both choral and orchestral works. For lovers of Baroque music, some of this music will be well-known; some less familiar. The concert will be conducted by David Webster, an upcoming talent on the Brisbane musical scene. Vocal soloist parts will be performed by a mix of well-known and emerging local artists: Neil Mason (tenor); Tim Grantham (bass); Rachel Pines (soprano); and Anastasia Bickel (alto). Audience members are warmly invited to join us for afternoon tea after the concert (gold coin donation).
