Cancer Council Queensland is calling on all Brisbanites to come together at New Farm Park this month to help them pull off Australia’s Biggest BYO Morning Tea.
The first-time event, held on Saturday 16 April, invites friends, families and workplaces to come together for a cuppa to launch Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea campaign for 2016.
The proceeds will go towards helping Queensland impacted by cancer. According to Cancer Council around 26,000 Queenslanders are diagnosed with cancer every year – that’s one person diagnosed every 20 minutes!
The BYO morning tea will be a prelude to Cancer Council’s official Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea date, Thursday 26 May.
So pack your picnic blanket and morning tea and join a crew who are doing what they can to beat cancer!
