Brisbane will become the first Australian city to hear rare Italian baroque masterpieces when one of the world’s most captivating violin virtuosos and conductors starts his tour with Australian Brandenburg Orchestra at QPAC, before going on to Sydney and Melbourne.

Riccardo Minasi is known across the globe not just for his thrilling, action-packed performances, but also as a champion of forgotten music of Naples, one of the most innovative and influential cultural centres during baroque times.

This will be the second time this year Brisbane audiences have had the chance to see the five-time ARIA Award-winning Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, after the company committed to making the city a permanent touring destination.
