One of Queensland’s most infamous and iconic events, the Caxton Street Festival is back and looks like being bigger than ever.
Falling smack bang in the middle of the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, the festival is confirmed for Sunday June 7, giving you a day to recover before heading back to work.
The festival is in its 21st year and is now one of the most anticipated parties in Brisbane, taking the concept of a street party to another level.
Caxton Street has been constantly growing and evolving and now offers a delightful collection of venues, stores and local businesses and part of the appeal of the Caxton Street Festival is how it celebrates the rejuvenated Caxton Street Precinct.
This year, the program has something for everyone, with an entertaining line up of live music, a huge selection of mouthwatering food, plus a great range of local wines, craft beers and cocktails to sip and sample.
There musical acts are scheduled to play across the multiple stages starting from midday and the party will kick on late into the evening. The complete music lineup and program for the day is set to be announced on Wednesday April 29.
