In conjunction with the Australian Defence Force, Queensland Rugby will commemorate ANZAC Day and the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC Gallipolo landings when they go head-to-head with the Wellington Hurricanes on Sunday April 26th.
Prior to the game, fans are invited to visit Caxton Street where a marching band, mounted horses of the 7th Brigade, and some serving soldiers will march towards Suncorp Stadium. Reds members and fans who have served, or have had family members served are also encouraged to march. Outside the stadium will be traditional military displays, including ASLAV’s & Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles, all courtesy of the 7th Brigade.
With the match kicking off at 4:05pm, fans are asked to be in their seats at 3:40pm to enjoy the pre-game commemorative ceremonies.
