Frock Up Brisbane, the popular vintage fashion fair, will bring three days’ worth of the best vintage fashion from around the country to the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds.
Now in its eighth year, the fair will feature a cafe serving high teas with vintage crockery, screenings of fashion films, and door prizes, as well as local fashionistas selling items from their own wardrobes.
Once you’ve bought your ticket, you can come and go as you please throughout the weekend.
Of course, the ticket price is likely to be the least of your expenses once you start browsing the stalls, but if you want a shot at earning back your money, you can enter the fair’s long-running Ms or Mr Vintage Queensland competition. There’ll be $200 cash on offer for the person chosen by their peers as being ‘best dressed in vintage’, so you might want to start coordinating your outfit now.
The Way We Wear Fairs presents Frock Up Brisbane at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds (Logan Road, Upper Mt Gravatt) on Friday 13 March (6pm-9pm), Saturday 14 March (10am-4pm) and Sunday 15 March (10am-3pm).
