What better way to start and finish our 40th anniversary year than with the ACO playing what is probably the most-loved, most-played, and most-recorded concertos of all time: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

The Four Seasons was a runaway success when first published and performed throughout Europe. In our day, the concertos have eclipsed most every other instrumental work of the Baroque era in popularity, and are crowned as cultural icons.

Richard Tognetti explores musical connections between East and West, pairing Vivaldi’s Baroque masterpiece, The Four Seasons, with original compositions by ARIA Award-winning, Egyptian-Australian oud virtuoso and composer, Joseph Tawadros.
