Museum of Brisbane hosts¬†The River: A history of Brisbane,¬†exploring the story of The Brisbane River and our ever-changing relationship with it, from it’s traditional owners to the critical role it has played in the growth of our capital.

The exhibition will feature artworks and pieces from the City of Brisbane collection, following the journey of the river from the early settlement to Brisbane today broken down into the themes of Beauty, Crossings, Within Reach, Embrace, Shaping Forces and Watershed.

The Museum will host this exhibition daily from April 2013 onward, including public holidays.
