The Havaianas Thong Challenge returns this Australia Day: Sunday 26 January, 2014.
Every year, this iconic event brings 1000s of people together to have fun, and celebrate being Australian!
There’ll be a whole range of family-friendly games, prizes and giveaways – as well as the chance to be part of a world record attempt for the largest number of giant inflatable Havaianas out on the ocean.
So get involved! Simply register and then come along to your favourite Aussie beach- Queensland’s beach destination this year is Mooloolaba.
The event at Mooloolaba runs from 8am to 2.30pm, with registration for the world record attempt open from 8am to 11.30am, marshalling at 12pm and the attempt kicking off from 12.20pm to 12.55pm.
We’ll also donate $10 from every beach registration to the local participating surf club. Support surf life saving initiatives.
Plus, if you can’t make the beach, you can still be part of the action – by hosting a very cool Havaianas Thong Challenge Party in your own backyard! Simply register, and we’ll send you a pack with everything you need.
Online registration cost just $30 with all participants receiving the iconic 2014 giant inflatable Havaianas (valued at $49.95). Registrations are now open at: www.havaianasthongchallenge.com.au
There will be a limited number of registrations available on the day, so pre registration is advised to avoid disappointment.
Help Queensland beat the other Australian states for the highest attendance! Western Australia currently holds the title at 2093 people.
