The world’s most successful investor, philanthropist and the 12th richest man in the world, Warren Buffet has served as an inspiration and icon for budding investors who are constantly questioning “What is Buffett buying right now?” But it’s what Buffett is eating right now that’s causing quite a stir.

“I’m one quarter Coca-Cola,” claimed the 84-year old billionaire and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway when asked where he gets his energy from in an interview with Fortune Magazine.

The octogenarian explained that the logic behind his high-sugar, high-salt diet is to mimic that of a six-year-old, and shockingly it has kept him relatively healthy.

“I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest death rate is among six-year-olds. So I decided to eat like a six-year-old. It’s the safest course I can take.”

Buffett, who conveniently owns $16 billion in Coca-Cola stock through his company Berkshire Hathaway, boasts to drink typically a minimum of five cans of Coke a day, both regular and Cherry.

But consuming a minimum of five cokes is not his only solution for achieving a 2700 calorie day, as the diet also includes UTz Potato sticks and chocolate chip ice-cream for breakfast.

Buffett — having racked up $72 billion in personal wealth — would appear to have his head screwed on, but can the same be said for his unusual diet?
