Beauty giant Sephora is coming to town soon.

Sephora Australia’s first Brisbane store will open at Westfield Chermside on Thursday 6 April.

This will be Sephora’s eighth Australian store, and its second store in Queensland, after opening in Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast last July.

The Westfield Chermside store is part of a $355 million redevelopment of the shopping centre, which will now be the largest Westfield centre in Queensland.

The 414-square-metre store will include Sephora’s trademark Beauty Studio, which gives customers one-on-one access to the store’s experts as part of Sephora’s complimentary and paid beauty services.

Sephora Australia country manager Libby Amelia says the global chain is looking forward to finally opening a brick-and-mortar Sephora store in Brisbane.

“Launching our first ever Brisbane store is a very exciting time for Sephora Australia,” she says.

“After such great success with our Pacific Fair store launch on the Gold Coast, it was clear that we needed to bring a Sephora store offering to the sunshine state capital. And with many of Brisbane’s beauty junkies already shopping with us [online], the new Westfield Chermside development was the perfect answer.”

Sephora currently stocks more than 40 exclusive beauty brands, including Marc Jacobs Beauty, Tarte, Kat Von D, Ouai Haircare, Nudestix, beautyblender, Ole Henriksen, Cover Fx, Anastasia Beverly Hills, HUDA Beauty and its own private label, Sephora Collection.

To coincide with the Brisbane store opening, Sephora will be adding new exclusive brands to their offering, including indie US brand Youth To The People.

Sephora is just one of an array of international high street retailers and Aussie favourites opening at Westfield Chermside on Thursday 6 April, including fast fashion giants Zara and H&M.

“We are thrilled to welcome an incredible mix of global retailers and Australian brands we know our customers love this April,” says Westfield Chermside centre manager Garth Haslam.

“This is only the beginning. With the leisure and dining and premium fashion precincts set to follow in June, visitors can look forward to a world-class retail experience here in Queensland.”
