Brisbane Fashion Weekend will combine runway shows with a designer pop-up shopping experience at the Royal International Convention Centre this weekend.
The promise of a plethora of exciting new brands and old favourites is expected to get 3,000 attendees through the doors at Brisbane’s new shopping and fashion event.
More than 40 Australian labels, designers and boutiques will be available to shop from in the Brisbane Fashion Weekend Pop-Up Precinct, with brands including Saylor & Saige (featuring designs from Asilio, FaithFull, Senso, Steele, Winona, NakedVice and more), Get Frocked, Intimo, Thousand Island Dressing and Artalo.
Platinum and Gold ticket holders will be able to see live catwalk shows on The Runway, as at least 10 designers showcase their collections and labels in a show curated by stylist extraordinaire Kimberly Gardner that will be repeated at 11am, 12pm and 1pm daily. Labels on The Runway will include IXIAH, Tengdahl, Saylor & Saige, LouenHide, Adrift, 400 Co, Kahlo Kahlo, Pink Punk, Wilde Willow, ar-czyk and SunSoaked, all of whom will also appear in the Pop-Up Precinct.
Inside the Pop-Up Precinct, you’ll have a chance to hear from fashion industry experts on Centre Stage, get some styling tips from personal stylists in the Stylist Hub, and enjoy a glass of bubbly in the Moët Lounge.
You can also relax and unwind with a mini-treatment or two in the Pamper Room, serviced by Affinage Professional and Inglot Australia, with profits going to local charity Suited For Success, a community organisation that helps people overcome barriers to employment.
Brisbane Fashion Weekend will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre (600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills) this Saturday 22 October and Sunday 23 October. For more info on designers, labels and ticket packages, visit brisbanefashionweekend.com.au.
