Celebrating the new season, Metre Market will return with a fresh lineup of spring-themed boutique market stalls, live music, food and art.

More than 1000 Brisbanites attended the last Metre Market in May, and organisers expect to top that number with the spring edition.

The lineup will feature a number of new stalls, including clothing brand Planet Hostile, Winn Lane’s Stonewood Wax candles, handmade wooden jewellery by Gabsies, modern homewares by Asali Interiors and more.

Of course, a number of Metre Market stalwarts will return, including Brisbane creatives Max and Mort, Fareast Apparel, Evangeline, Soul Quartz, Axsher, Ivy & Wood, Rosie Lou and Barefoot and Blonde Design.

The pre-loved rack sale will be back, giving you a chance to clear out your winter wardrobe and get your spring clean on. You can apply to take part in the pre-loved rack sale here.

There’ll be a delicious lineup of gourmet food and drink stalls to choose from, with Fire N Dough, Toni’s Turkish, Yummi Fruit Ice Creamery and Diego’s Drop Iced Tea all returning, as well as a few sweet surprises.

Live music will be provided by Byron Bay indie folk artist Adam Harpaz, who’ll be performing live acoustic sets from 9am onwards.

There’ll also be flower crown workshops, and plenty of fun for the little ones, with face painting and interactive life-sized games taking over the lawn.

Metre Market’s spring edition will be held at Morningside School of Arts (Corner of Wynnum Road & Ison Street, Morningside) on Sunday 25 September from 9am to 1pm. The event is open to all ages and free to attend.
