A star-studded line up of local labels from the Brisbane Arcade brought their ‘A’-game last night, launching their Spring/Summer collections at Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.
The headquarters of Queensland’s couture fashion delivered a sizzling selection of skirts, two-piece suits, midi dresses, jumpsuits and even floor-length gowns to usher in the new season.
The garments featured flattering, feminine silhouettes with patterns for any palette; from oriental, safari and tropical prints, to retro graphics, florals, polka dots and stripes. Accessories abounded with headscarves, cat-eye shades and leather gloves on show, not to mention the showstopping millinery that ruled the runway.
Irma J Smith House of Fashion, Maiocchi, Pia du Pradal, Tengdahl, Bora and Darb Bridal Coutures’ collections dropped in store this week. As part of MBFF’s ‘Own it’ campaign, shoppers can snap up their favourite looks right off the runway, here.
