See Brisbane’s most fashionable ladies walk the runway for a good cause.

Some of Brisbane’s highest profile women will strut their fabulous stuff down the catwalk for Brisbane’s homeless at A Fashion Odyssey this month.

Models for the fashion extravaganza include Brisbane beauties Liz Cantor from the Seven Network, Ten News presenter Georgina Lewis, former Australia’s Next Top Model runner up Liz Braithwaite, and Radio 97.3 and 4BC breakfast presenters Robin Bailey, and Loretta Ryan. As these undiscovered supermodels blaze down the runway they will be supporting Charity Ladz, a not-for-profit organisation created by Brisbane philanthropist Michael Stafford to provide clothing and other necessities for the homeless in our community.

All guests will be invited to donate an item of warm clothing or a blanket for Brisbane’s homeless upon entry and Mr Stafford said as it’s a cold winter the extra clothes and blankets are much needed and wanted.

“We’re so grateful to be part of this event and for any community support as we want to grow this movement and make it bigger and better so we can keep providing for the homeless,” Mr Stafford says. “We can’t give them homes but we can give them clothes, food, and kindness.”

The event will have celebrity models tantalising guests with the latest show-stopping arrivals from Odyssey Bridal & Formal Wear Couture, previously known as Hills in Hollywood. Odyssey is Brisbane’s leading stockist for top US and Australian designers specialising in formal, bridal, evening, and racewear.

In addition to the fashion parade, guests will be treated to a three-course lunch, an afternoon of music and fabulous company, and the knowledge they’re keeping our homeless warm this winter.

A Fashion Odyssey will be held at Summit Events Centre (The Iceworks Building, Paddington) on Thursday 31 July. Click here for tickets.
