Brisbane designer Sacha Drake may have been running her eponymous label for more than ten years, but her winter 2014 collection is looking as young as ever.

The recently released collection is sleek with a heavy focus on black and white, along with a slightly more youthful focus than the designer has turned her hand to in recent years.

The winter collection focuses on fun dresses with clean, elegant lines that cater to a woman’s shape, one of the hallmarks the Sacha Drake label has built a successful following on.

A sleek one-shouldered black cocktail dress follows every curve but falls to the knee for a sophisticated touch.

Featuring figure flattering designs with classic lines and vibrant prints and textures, the labelĀ is moving forward with a more youthful image and feel while still staying true to its core demographic, says the designer.

“Any woman can feel safe in the knowledge that not only is a Sacha Drake garment functional and versatile, it can make you look and feel fabulous,” she said.

Picks for the season include a versatile black trench coat, crisp white shirt and long-line jacket that can be worn belted as a coat dress or left open and tied at the back for a stylish outer layer.

Sacha Drake celebrated her tenth year in business last year and has said she is proud to maintain production in Brisbane, a rarity in the commercial fashion industry.

Since its inception the business has grown significantly and the label is stocked in more than 150 boutiques throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The complete range can be purchased from selected boutiques nationally, through the Sacha Drake boutiques or via
