The Museum of Ice Cream will open in Los Angeles next month, and we’re already looking into flights and accommodation.
After a brief — and completely sold-out — pop-up in New York City last year, the Museum of Ice Cream is headed to Los Angeles.
Nothing has been confirmed, but Los Angeles Magazine reports that online job postings indicate the museum will open in either Santa Monica or Venice Beach in March.
Really more of an art installation / playground / Instagram backdrop than a museum, the New York pop-up sold 30,000 tickets in five days, and included a ball pit filled with rainbow sprinkles, a wall of waffle cones, and an ice-cream scoop see-saw, among other themed attractions.
The LA dates and location have yet to be announced, but if you’re likely to be in town in March, follow the Museum of Ice Cream’s Instagram account for details.
