Aussie World caters for the whole family with rides, restaurants, bars and shopping.
Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast is open every day from 9-5 and is certain to be a day full of family fun. This weekend if you’re looking for something different to do with the family why not try this iconic Australian attraction?
With over 30 rides in the park, there are a range of thrills, from roller coasters to the swinging pirate ship and more. But if you’re not an adrenaline junkie, then Aussie World also has a range of classic rides, from the Ferris wheel to the carousel, that will have the older generation feeling nostalgic.
The little ones are sure to sleep through the entire night after a full day of children’s entertainment and activities. Try the giant slide, the giggle-go-round, or Phileas’ Fun Worx with many other rides and activities to keep your child smiling. Mini golf and dodgem cars are also available.
If you love to shop, Aussie World has you covered with Ettamogah Shopping Village and every little girl’s fantasy land, the Pink Shoppe. The Ettamogah houses an array of stores from Beefy’s Bakery to the Ole Lollie Shop.
Ettamogah Pub –
As the most photographed pub in the world the Ettamogah is an iconic structure that tourists flock to take pictures of year round. It was built in 1989 with recycled trees from the cleared area. One of Queensland’s leading attractions, the Ettamogah means “place of good drink” in Aboriginal. The pub is home to a TAB that is open every day from 9am and houses a unique handmade boomerang table that is made from native Blackbutt trees.
Bluey’s Bar & Grill –
Above the Ettamogah Pub you will find Bluey’s Bar & Grill, a good source for authentic Australian meals that will leave you proud to be true blue. Bluey’s offers everything from the sticky pork belly to the braised lamb shank, to the quirky steaks named after the Australian vocabulary — the Jillaroo, the Jackaroo, the Outback, and my favourite, the Cattleman. Bluey’s Bar & Grill is all sourced from local produce with a range of Australian wines and beers, and has a seasonal menu that will keep you coming back.
If you’re looking for a space to hold your next event, Aussie World has a variety of facilities to suit any occasion. The following facilities are open to the public for general recreational use:
