Paws at the Park, a market that’s just for your canine pals, is coming to Southport this weekend.

Billed as the Gold Coast’s first pet market, Paws at the Park will feature a range of pet-related market stalls and a chance for your pooch to socialise with lots of other dogs.

The event will be held in Labrador (get it?) at Musgrave Park, which features a large, fully-fenced off-leash play area for the pups, as well as public amenities.

There’ll also be a fundraising barbecue for the Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ), free weight checks with The Vet Collective, raffle prizes and more.

Among the many stall holders at the event are Hugo’s Ice Creamery, makers of frozen dog treats; Doggie Tea, the creators of Australia’s first herbal tea for dogs; and Oodle & Co, a local label specialising in accessories for the modern fur parent.

Interested stallholders can contact woof@pawsatthepark.com.au to see if there’s a spot available for you.

Paws at the Park will be held this Sunday 3 April at Musgrave Dog Park (Musgrave Avenue, Labrador) from 9am to 12pm, and sounds like it’ll be well worth the trip for you and your fur baby!
