Guide Dogs Queensland has released their 2016 Calendar, and it will steal your heart!

Loaded with pictures of dogs, cute little pups and Guide Dogs in training, the Guide Dogs Queensland 2016 Calendar helps raise vital funds for blind and vision impaired Queenslanders.

We all know dogs make excellent companions, but did you know that Guide Dogs can reduce stress, calm anxiety, build a positive attitude, confidence and independence?

Guide Dogs Queensland provides companion dogs to families who have a child or family member with a disability or to people who may benefit from having a dog around the home.

They also provide facility dogs to organisation whose facilities care for people with a disability, aged care or people who may benefit from a dog’s companionship in their daily life.

But like everything, it comes at a cost!

Each Guide Dog costs more than $35,000 to breed, train and place, and the guide dog program is funded entirely by the community.

It’s great to know that proceeds from the sale of the 2016 calendar will benefit the Guide Dog breeding and training program and help put one of these amazing animals into the hands of a Queenslander in need.

So, if you’re searching for a heart-warming gift for family and friends, think about getting them a Guide Dogs Queensland 2016 Calender! They’re just $24 (including postage) and available at or via Freecall 1800 007 460
