A 101-year-old woman from Canada is capturing hearts around the world today after being filmed playing in the snow.
Centenarian Albina Foisy, from British Columbia, hopped out of her son’s car to enjoy a sudden snowfall.
Her son, Armand Foisy, said he had been forced to turn the car around because of thick snow — but before he could set off in the other direction, his mother was already out the door and in the snow.
“Oh my, oh my, look at this,” Albina says, as she packs the snow into a tight ball. “It’s kind of fun to play in the snow.”
“When you have a mother that’s 101 years old, it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments,” Armand can be heard saying in the video.
Armand told Huffington Post Canada that the video is a typical example of his mother’s warmth, joy and “unending curiosity” about the world.
“That has kept her going so well, because she wants to learn and experience,” he said.
The video has gone viral on Facebook, where one commenter noted that the fun-loving Albina Foisy hasn’t changed much over the years.
“Wow. Look at you go Mrs Foisy!” they wrote. “I remember you from growing up in Lillooet and you were just as fun then!”
