The Food Truck Hub on Chester will open in Fortitude Valley this month.
The Food Truck Hub on Chester will feature six of Brisbane’s best food trucks — King of the Wings, Micasa, The Bone Lorry, That BBQ Joint, Pizzantica and Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van.
Taking place opposite the Emporium complex in Fortitude Valley every Friday night, the event — presented by Food Truck Collective Brisbane — is being billed as Brisbane’s first permanent weekly food truck hub.
Brisbane foodies will now be able to find their favourite food trucks at the same time in the same place every week.
King of the Wings owner Dylan Pires says the permanent food truck market has been a long time coming.
“This has been a project two years in the making, as we have seen the growth of permanent hubs like The Food Truck Park in Melbourne, and with Brisbane’s food truck scene leading the country, we felt it was a perfect addition to our industry,” he says.
As well as your favourite food trucks and plenty of undercover seating, you can also expect to find live music at The Food Truck Hub on Chester, as well as a pop-up bar in the near future.
The Food Truck Hub on Chester (on the corner of Chester and Ann Streets in Fortitude Valley) will launch Friday 12 May, and will be open every Friday from 6pm to 9pm.
