The Canadian Club Racquet Club will serve up a perfect mix of tunes, tennis and refreshments when it pops up at Queensland’s Sandstone Point Hotel for the first time.
The Racquet Club will be Brisbane’s only official Australian Open live site, with giant screens live streaming the Australian Open from Monday 16 January and throughout the two weeks of the Grand Slam tournament.
Overlooking the pristine waters of the Pumicestone Passage and Moreton Bay, the pop-up will be decked out in Canadian Club summer style, serving classic CC & Dry and refreshing CC cocktails to keep you cool on those balmy summer nights.
The Racquet Club concept originated in Victoria, and is making its first trip to Queensland.
“The Australian open is one of the most iconic events on the Australian sporting calendar, and after great success during the last couple of years we are very excited to be taking the CC Racquet Club to Sydney and Brisbane,” says Canadian Club brand manager Kristy Rathborne.
“Historically, when the Australian Open kicks off in January it always turns out to be a couple of the hottest weeks of the year — the perfect time for Aussies to enjoy a refreshing CC.”
The Canadian Club Racquet Club will pop up at Sandstone Point Hotel (1800 Bribie Island Road, Sandstone Point) from Tuesday 27 December to Monday 30 January, and will be open from midday to midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and midday to 2am, Friday to Saturday. Entry is free.
