Three of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s highly-anticipated new restaurants open today, with two more gourmet venues to follow in June.
The opening of Nantucket Kitchen & Bar, Harajuku Gyoza and Nitrogenie at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre today introduce their new Station Road Restaurant precinct, part of the centre’s $450M development.
All of Indooroopilly’s new venues overlook the exterior plaza area, where access can be found to the new mall and David Jones.
Nantucket Kitchen & Bar owner TJ Peabody says their concept is inspired by the Cape Cod region, where contemporary American fare is focused on fresh, local and often organic ingredients.
“Our family eats organic produce mostly because there is a difference – at Nantucket, our patrons can rely on the fact that the produce we offer in our dishes will always be high quality,” says TJ.
“Caring for you, your family and friends is the first thing on our minds.”
Patrons can expect contemporary American cuisine to encompass the menu, such as crab cakes, twice-baked potatoes, beef pierogies and pork chops cooked over charcoal.
Nantucket embraces the United States revolution of ‘the bottomless glass’ where most non-alcoholic drinks are refilled for free.
The restaurant also features a function space for private and corporate events.
Second on the line-up, Harajuku Gyoza is all about high-energy, Japanese cuisine to activate the senses.
Their streets-of-Tokyo trademark can be found in their open-plan kitchen where grilled savoury treats and dumplings are prepared.
The icing on Indooroopilly’s cake lies at Nitrogenie where icecream is made exciting through the magic of liquid nitrogen.
Nitrogenie have found great success in South Bank through their process of freezing eggs, milk, cream and natural food ingredients to create extra-creamy ice-cream.
The Mero Restaurant & Bar, a modern Italian trattoria, and Ole Fuego, a destination of lovers of tapas, will round out Indooroopilly’s dining experience when they open in June.
Parking access can be found at the new taxi set down and parking area which additionally opened today in front of the Station Road restaurant plaza.
