Mum will feel like royalty this Mother’s Day with an indulgent high tea – the most elegant of meals.
Forget the toast in bed or new pair of slippers for Mother’s Day this year – treat your mum to a delicious high tea to make her feel really special.
bmag popped in to Brisbane Marriott to sample some of the treats on offer for their special Mother’s Day high tea menu. A classic and traditional high tea offering, the sandwiches were fresh and the scones perfection, with the three-tier platter offering just the right balance of sweet and savoury. Our favourites were the delectable swan-shaped desserts (pictured) and the flowing Moet champagne.
Motion Bar & Grill is also offering a four-course lunch menu, buffet breakfast, and dinner package so you can spoil Mum at any time of day.
Sofitel in Brisbane Central offers French pastries, ribbon sandwiches and chocolate fondue – all themed to the Pantone colour of the year Radiant Orchid. If Mum’s a fan of interior design or colour trends you can’t go past this unique twist on afternoon tea.
Stamford Plaza has one of the most renowned high teas in Brisbane – even serving the Queen when she visited Brisbane on her visit in 2011! To really indulge book in for the chocolate high tea buffet; served on the Brasserie’s river-view terrace, the buffet is completely chocolate-inspired and truly decadent – guaranteed to satisfy even the sweetest-toothed of mums!
So spoil Mum this year with a special outing that makes her feel like true royalty.
Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
