Nest Restaurant and Bar has hatched in Brisbane.

The 430 square metre food precinct presents four elements to Brisbane foodies – a fine dining restaurant, fast paced take-out hub, luxurious cocktail lounge and an ultra-urban street facing bar. Situated on the second level of 159 Roma Street and overlooking Brisbane’s famous Red Lantern Tree, the completion of Nest is an important development for the region.  Master Chef, Kenneth Ip said Nest’s hybrid menu was constructed to showcase traditional Asian flavours with a modern Australian twist.

Signature cocktails include Birds of Tokyo,a Kraken spiced rum mojito and Nest in the City, their rejigged version of a Cosmopolitan. The Leaving the Nest cocktail is a reimagined mango margarita. Nest also have a fresh herb garden and a bee farm located on their roof, so they are able to use homegrown herbs and honey in their cocktails and dining menu.

The interior is pretty as a picture and once you’ve stepped through the door you’ll fell like you’ve been swept away on an exotic adventure. An elaborate wooden nest roof sculpture forms the focal point of the precinct, while illustrated wall paper, metallic detailing and high back suede chesterfields create a sense of warmth and luxury.

The precinct is also capable of housing large groups for special events and functions, with seating for 100 and standing for 250 people.
