About Woodhill

Get directions

Woodhill is approximately 47km south of Brisbane city and lies within the Logan City Council area. Woodhill and Veresdale evolved from the Townsvale plantation established by Robert Towns in 1862. David Ferguson had a store at Woodhill, north of the school, from mid 1870 and although he later sold it the store remained in business until 1956. During that time it was the hub of the local community.
