YouTube has released its list of the most popular videos of 2016 in Australia, and it’s dominated by one man.

Given that there’s still almost a whole month (and god knows how many celebrity deaths) between now and the end of 2016, it seems a little premature to release this list now, but hey, we’re not here to tell the folks at YouTube how to do their jobs.

Unsurprisingly, this year’s list is dominated by James Corden, who landed four Carpool Karaoke clips in the top ten.

Honestly, do you know anyone who actually watches The Late Late Show, or do you just wait for the best bits to go viral online?

Only two Australian clips cracked the top 10 — Superwog’s Parent Teacher Interviews sketch and a Triple J Like A Version session — and one of those two clips featured an American singer covering a Canadian artist. On the other hand, Sia featured in one of Corden’s entries, so it kind of balances out, right?

The top 10 is as follows:

1. Adele Carpool Karaoke (The Late Late Show)

2. Huge Eggs Surprise Toys Challenge (Ryan ToysReview)

3. Jennifer Lopez Carpool Karaoke (The Late Late Show)

4. Sia Carpool Karaoke (The Late Late Show)

5. Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Conan Help A Student Driver (Conan)

6. Parent Teacher Interviews (Superwog)

7. Boogie Storm make Simon’s dream come true! (Britain’s Got Talent)

8. Halsey covers Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself (triple j’s Like A Version)

9. First Lady Michelle Obama Carpool Karaoke (The Late Late Show)

10. Does Elsa Eat Too Much? (DCTC Toy Channel)
