A 34-year-old Brisbane man has been arrested over the alleged murder of a toddler in June.
A man has been charged with the murder of a three-year-old boy north of Brisbane.
The 34-year-old was arrested on Tuesday after the sudden death of the toddler at Kallangur on June 17.
Police say the charge was the result of an ongoing investigation by local detectives.
The man is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The charges follow a renewed police appeal last month for information about the child’s death.
Police said the boy was found at a townhouse complex on Goodfellows Rd at Kallangur early on the morning of June 18.
He was pronounced dead at the scene after apparently falling down a set of stairs, officers said last month.
