A Queensland woman has been charged over the disappearance of a three-year-old girl who was found safe and well more than 24 hours later.

A woman has been charged over the disappearance of a three-year-old girl from her southern Queensland home.

The child was reported missing from her Toowoomba home, west of Brisbane, about 10am on Monday and was found safe and well more than 24 hours later.

Police on Tuesday charged a 23-year-old Toowoomba woman with two counts of removing a child from custody.

She will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 11.
