A man has appeared briefly in court charged with slashing the throat of another man while the pair was in a car.
A man charged with slashing the throat of another man in a car in Brisbane will remain in prison.
Joshua Benjamin Guy, 27, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking a 39-year-old with a knife in the inner-west Brisbane suburb of Bardon just before 10pm Tuesday.
Police say Guy was a passenger in a car being driven by the victim.
Guy allegedly fled on foot while the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were fortunately not life-threatening.
The accused man made no application for bail when he appeared briefly in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He was remanded in custody and his case was adjourned until July 7.
