Queensland left-hander Nathan Reardon has left Adelaide Strikers to sign on with the Brisbane Heat for this summer’s BBL competition.
The Brisbane Heat have lured clean-hitting Nathan Reardon back home from Adelaide to bolster their batting line-up for this summer’s Big Bash League.
Queensland left-hander Reardon was one who slipped through the Heat’s grasp in the opening seasons of the BBL but they have made the 29-year-old their first new signing for BBL04.
After stints with the Melbourne Renegades and Strikers, Reardon has a career T20 strike-rate of 122 from 49 matches and adds potency to the Heat alongside Chris Lynn and Joe Burns.
“Adelaide were very good to me and I enjoyed moving out of my comfort zone and going away from home for the two years I was with the Strikers,” he said.
“But the chance to come back to Brisbane was too good to resist.”
