Brisbane fans have another reason to cheer after the reigning A-League champions re-signed Jean Carlos Solorzano for another two seasons.
Reigning A-League champions Brisbane Roar have more good news for fans after re-signing Costa Rican striker Jean Carlos Solorzano for another two seasons.
Known as “Nico”, Solorzano, 26, re-joined Brisbane on a short-term contract in January after stints with Melbourne Victory and Costa Rican club Puntarenas.
“Nico has shown loyalty, professionalism and a hunger for more success here in Brisbane,” Roar coach Mike Mulvey said of Solorzano, who signed until the end of the 2015-16 season.
“He’s worked extremely hard at training and I’m looking forward to seeing his contributions next season with a full pre-season under his belt.
“Nico considers Brisbane home now.”
Solorzano featured in Brisbane’s first A-League minor premiership-championship double in 2010-11, with 25 appearances and 11 goals.
Brisbane return to pre-season training next month after becoming the first A-League club to win three championships.
